More Wedding Photos-thanx to da Rogan's
Hello Humans in Blogger Land. Greetings and happiness to all who read this. Yesterdays celebration of the first aniversary of Emilia's and mine's first hang-out session was a relaxing trip to Downtown Portland. We got our coffee at the Ione, than walked over to the Smith Center at PSU, just as we did a year ago. We did not wear our green pants like we did last year, but that was okay. There were more people this year doing whatever they were doing the day after Christmas, which suprised us. Who goes to PSU the day after Christmas? It was nice and we plan on doing it again next year. On to the Photos. The Rogan family sent us some photos from the wedding, and we decided to show y'all a couple of samples.
This photo was right at the beginning of the reception. I was the first dance leader, and taught people Hava Nagila, first the song, than the dance. It was a little chalenging leading both at the same time (People do not sing and dance well, sing or dance, but not sing and dance).
This photo has some dancers on one side, and some chatters on another. I am guessing this dance is Zemar Atik, but I am not sure with a still photo only.
THis last photo is of two young ladies playing Temple Grandin Squeeze Machine. For those of you who do not understand, Temple Grandin, one of the morst famous Autistics in the world, invented the squeze machine, a device redesigned from one used on cattle, to be used on Autistics. The squeze machine is a calming device amd the model for humans can be controled by the person being squeezed. Unfortunatly, the human model can only go up to 75 psi, but maybe Temple can get a more powerful model approved for distribution. :-) The female behind me is Laura Ridenour, and the female in front of me is Kassianne Sibley, author of my favorite entry in the book "Ask and Tell: Self-Advocacy and Disclosure for People on the Autism Spectrum" (Edited by Stphen Shore) This is all for me today. May your day after 26 December go well.
Peace Out
