Initial Report From A Married Man!!!!
Hey peoples. Jody is a married man now, and so is his wife, Emilia. For those of y'all that tried to watch the ceremony on the net, we had technical difficulties and we are sorry that you could not see it. :-( for those of y'all that were not there, we started a few minutes late in hopes of getting the broadcast going, and than capitulated to the anxious priest that presided over the celebration to go on without the webcast. The ceremony was quite beautiful and I am not saying it because it was my ceremony. We had three clergy, all representing different denominations, participating in the event. The first reader was David Sumner, from Rehoboth Messianic Congregation in Vancouver, WA. The second was CJ, the covenant Five Campus Pastor at Portland State University. (She is Quaker) and Father Mayo, Pastor of St Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Portland laid on the prayers. Doug was in good voice, (the cantor at the wedding) and the reception afterward was filled with singing and Messianic dance, which occurred in the PSU park blocks. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and all was well. We left for our honeymoon that afternoon, and arrived in Salem just after lunch. We had a relaxing time, stayed at the Howard Johnson Inn, and even wen to the Oregon State Fair on Monday. We will have more pics from the wedding and Honeymoon later, for now, we include only one pic, which is of a tree cookie Emilia and I made at the State Fair. Hope all is well with y’all, and thank you to those who helped make our wedding the wonderful event that it was!!!!
